LEHIGH ACRES, Fla -- Lee County deputies are conducting an investigation off Gunnery Road in Lehigh Acres.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of 2 home burglaries on the 700 Block of Homer Avenue South in Lehigh Acres.
One of the homes being investigated has blood smeared on the front door of the home, there are also around two dozen markers on Homer Avenue North of 7 Street Southwest indicating a trail of blood.
One person is in custody by police, he was taken to the hospital to be treated for drugs.
