Deputies make arrest after drug bust in Sheltering Pines

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Several suspected drug dealers are now behind bars on various drug charges.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office concluded a three month long investigation into the Sheltering Pines Community of San Carlos Park. Thursday, detectives conducted two narcotics search warrants along with a round-up of several suspected drug dealers that both reside in the community and deliver to the community. 

Detectives confiscated various amounts of heroin, crack, cocaine and prescription pills.

In addition to the investigation, deputies were on scene conducting interviews in an effort to develop new leads in the Diana Alvarez missing person's case.
