PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- A man reportedly had shots fired toward him after arriving at a residence to discuss the selling of an automobile.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, the victim told deputies that he was in talks with another person on the sale of a vehicle and agreed to discuss the transaction at a residence on South Twin Lakes Drive in the Tropical Gulf Acres community.
The victim walked to the rear of the residence as instructed and was confronted by a man who brandished a handgun and demanded money from the victim.
The victim reported that the suspect fired 2-3 rounds at him prior to fleeing from the scene. Nothing was reported taken from the victim.
The suspect is described being a black male, 6'0" tall approximately 175 lbs.and appeared to be approximately 20-30 years of age. A blue in color sedan with tinted windows is being sought in connection with this event.
