Detectives want to speak to person who left tip on fatal hit and run

LEE COUNTY, Fla. --- Detectives are now hoping to speak with a key tipster who may have information that'll help solve a deadly hit and run in Bonita Springs.

71-year-old Lynn Earl Brown, a karaoke regular at Sneaky Pete's, was riding his three-wheeled bike on Nottingham Lane on August 11th when a driver hit him and took off.

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers now says that last Saturday morning, they received one specific tip that detectives consider highly credible, and they want to speak with that person again.

If you provided that tip, or have any information on this case, you're urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.

A $1,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest.
