The Lee County Sheriff's Office is looking for the driver who hit and killed a man on a bicycle Thursday in Bonita Springs.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. Thursday at the corner of Nottingham Lane and Bonita Drive in Bonita Springs.
When deputies arrived, they found a man laying in the grass near his three-wheeled bicycle after he had been struck by a car that fled the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he later died. Deputies have not yet notified the victim's family, and they have not yet released his name.
