Employee robbed in parking lot of Naples pizza shop

NAPLES, Fla. -- Deputies are searching for a man they say robbed a pizza shop employee early Wednesday morning in East Naples.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the victim was closing up Domino’s on Radio Road at Santa Barbara Boulevard shortly after midnight when a man ran up to him in the parking lot with an automatic rifle, demanding valuables.

The robber stole the victim’s cell phone, car keys and wallet.

Deputies, along with CCSO K9 and aviation units, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Detectives said the suspect is described as black and about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, mask and gloves.
