NAPLES, Fla. -- A fatal crash caused lane closures on a busy Naples road on Thursday morning's commute.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the deadly crash that happened around 5:30am Thursday in Collier County.

It happened on Airport-Pulling Road near the intersection with Prospect Avenue.

We're not sure what caused the crash yet, but photos from the scene by viewer Bee Tuck show a car with considerable damage on the right side.

UPDATE (1/29) -- FHP says 46-year-old Marie Martinez Jesus of Naples died in the crash.

Troopers say Martinez Jesus was northbound on Airport Pulling Road in the left turn lane for Progress Avenue.  As she rapidly approached another car in the turn lane, she swerved left in an effort to avoid collision.  The right side of her car hit the car ahead of her anyway, and then continued into the southbound lanes of Airport Pulling, where it was struck by a van.

Martinez Jesus was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no injuries reported in the other two vehicles involved.

No charges have been filed.
