LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Authorities have arrested two men following burglary reports on the Florida Gulf Coast University campus two weeks ago.  One of those arrested is a basketball player for the school.

20-year-old Courtney Morrell "CJ" Williamsonbey and 21-year-old Jordan Burkes are facing charges of Burglary to a Conveyance and Grand Theft Larceny (less than $5,000).

"They were just creeping around cars, trying to get into them, they just had a weird vibe about them," said FGCU Freshman Zack Ebershoff.

Ebershoff said he saw two people who looked like Williamsonbey and Burkes in Garage B. The garage serves the freshman dorms on campus.

"My friend and I stared at them, and they stared back at us, but we never said anything because it was intimindating."

Both men admitted to taking a gold charm worth $2,000, a GPS and jacket. They returned the items to police.

Williamsonbey is listed on the basketball team roster as a redshirt sophomore who is sitting this season out after transferring from Texas Tech.

Earlier this month, campus police released surveillance images of two men seen burglarizing cars in a parking garage on January 31st.
