FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- A small fire at the Lani Kai Island Resort on Fort Myers Beach forced an evacuation Tuesday.
A small fire broke out in a laundry room, forcing the evacuation of a building. The building was evacuated just as a precaution, officials say there were no injuries.
Crews were able to control the fire quickly and has caused minimal damage on the bay side of the resort.
