SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. -- An undercover operation in Venice last week resulted in the arrests of five men, including two from Englewood, for exposing themselves in wooded areas of Venice parks.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, the operations took place in Casperson Beach Park on Harbor Drive, and Jenks Preserve on River Road in Venice.

Witnesses reported activity in these parks in which men would offer sexual favors and expose themselves along wooded trails in the parks.  That led investigators to conduct operations on Wednesday and Friday last week.

The following men were arrested and charged with Exposure of Sexual Organs, a misdemeanor charge that carries a $500 bond:

43-year-old Daniel Colvin of Englewood

84-year-old Roger Johnson of Englewood

75-year-old Walter Rock of Sarasota

76-year-old Herbert Sharp of Wilton Manors

76-year-old James Walden of Venice
