UPDATE (11AM) -- Knollwood Drive, from Pine Crest Drive to Burning Tree Lane, is closed due to through traffic due to localized flooding. Knollwood Drive will be reopened when the high water levels recede.
The Public Works Department is monitoring stormwater drainage and responding as necessary. Citizens may report drainage issues ?via the Charlotte County, FL App or by calling the Public Works Department at ?941-575-3600.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Charlotte County is dealing with some flooding from overnight.
Here's a photo sent to us from viewer Tony Ortolano of the flooding on Rampart Boulevard. This is an area that's had flooding trouble recently.
Some residents on Facebook saying there are even stranded cars in the roadway.
Fox 4 viewer Cindy Guifoyle shared a photo of flooding near her Port Charlotte barn.
