Fort Myers convenience store robber Wednesday

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are looking for a man that robbed a Fort Myers 7-Eleven store at gunpoint overnight,

According to Fort Myers Police, at 2:40 am Wednesday, a black male entered the store at Winkler Avenue and Solomon Boulevard, pointed a black handgun at the clerks, and demanded money from the register.

The man then fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The black male suspect is described as being in his late teens to early twenties, average build, wearing a black t-shirt over dark shorts and black sneakers. The suspect had a mask covering most of this head, wore leather gloves and had tattoos on both arms.
