A Fort Myers man is facing several charges after he led Collier County Deputies on a high-speed chase.

Jorge Rea, 31, sped by a deputy near Wilson Boulevard.

Rea's arrest report says when the deputy tried to pull him over, Rea instead accelerated, despite his passengers asking him to stop.

Rea led the deputy on a six mile chase.

When he surrendered, the report says he threw his keys out of the car and apologized.

Rea's license was already suspended, and he's now facing multiple charges, including DUI.

He bonded out of jail on a $12,000 bond.
