Fort Myers Miracle host job fair

The Fort Myers Miracle hosted a job fair Saturday at Hammond Stadium for game day positions for the upcoming season.

"There is quite a few job positions available," said Andrew Seymour.

Potential employees filled out applications as they hope to join the guest services team.

"It is a fun job. It is what you want to do when you are retired," said Nick Massaro. "I enjoy it and it is one of those things where you enjoy coming to work everyday," he added.

"We do it each year and it is our community outreach. We find a lot of great people that come out that want to be involved in our game day operations," said Seymour.

Openings include parking, concessions, and a whole lot more. The effort put in by the team behind the scenes is noticed by fans.

"That's what makes it so much fun to come to the ballpark. If it's your first time here or if it is your one hundred time here, people treat you like family," said Ted Blaesing, who is a Miracle season ticket holder.

The game day team's goal is to make sure fans enjoy their time at the ball park.

"We are all about customer service and taking care of the fans so if we can better than experience any day, we always try to," said Seymour.

The job fair isn't the only way you can land a spot with the Miracle.

"You can always call our office or visit our website and connect with any one of us on there. We always want new members to the team," said Seymour.
