Gov. Rick Scott mum on who he'll endorse for...

Speculation has swirled for weeks about whether or not presidential front-runner Donald Trump will ask Florida Governor RIck Scott to jump on board his campaign.

Trump and Scott have several things in common: both are successful businessmen who have fortunes in the private sector. Both also have homes in South Florida. But whether or not Scott would join Trump's ticket - if asked - is something Scott is keeping close to the vest.

Trump is leading the polls among Republican candidates, proving a formidable opponent to more traditional GOP hopefuls Marco Rubio and John Kasich.

"I believe in voters," Scott said Friday. "I think they're going to make a good choice."

But the choice on the minds of many is: could Trump ask Rick Scott to be his running mate?

"I have two more years left in this job," Scott told reporters. "I like what I'm doing here. We've got a lot of good things to get done."

Scott is also staying mum on whether or not he would endorse Trump, if he wins the Florida Primary March 15th.

"I'm not going to endorse before March 15th," Scott said. "I'm going to be like every other voter out there, watching what happens, watching the debates."

Scott said that he plans on attending next Thursday's GOP debate at the University of Miami.
