MIAMI, Fla. - New Zika concerns in Miami Beach have Governor Rick Scott making an impromptu trip to Miami-Dade.

The Governor is changing his schedule to address the media Friday at the Miami-Dade County Department of Health at Noon.

On Thursday a Miami City official announced two new locally-transmitted cases of Zika in the Miami Beach area. The past cases of locally-transmitted cases have all been in the Wynwood area of Miami.

The Centers for Disease Control and the Florida Department of Health have yet to officially confirm the location of the new cases.

Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine says he believes the city is on top of controlling the mosquitoes and that officials are doing everything they can to stop the spread.
