UPDATE (11:15AM) -- Fort Myers Police say all the spilled gravel has been cleared from the roadway, and all lanes of traffic are open again.

LEE COUNTY, Fla -- Drivers are being asked to avoid State Road 82 if possible due to an overturned gravel truck.
According to Fort Myers Police, the truck overturned at the intersection with Buckingham Road sometime before 8AM Monday.
Crews are on scene to clean up the mess, but motorists can expect lane closures in both directions for several hours.
