UPDATE -- Police are saying this is a suicide attempt with injury. One person is being transported with life threatening injuries.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- There is heavy police presence in the area of Nelson Road and Wilmington parkway in Cape Coral.
Witnesses say several officers have blocked off a car and officers have drawn a gun.
At one point they heard gun fire.
