COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Wildlife officials says they've arrested two men after they were found to be hunting deer out of season near Picayune Strand State Forest.

According to Florida Fish and Wildlife, other hunters and forest service staff tipped off officers about the men.

Two FWC officers located the suspect's vehicle on a closed road near the entrance to the state forest and stopped them.  Three long guns were seen on top of a bloodied blanket in the back seat of the truck, underneath which were two deer -- a 9-point buck and a spike.

Both men were booked in the Collier County jail for taking deer out of season and hunting in an unauthorized area.
