Lehigh Acres bank robbed Thursday

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Police say a man got away with cash after robbing a Lehigh Acres bank Thursday.

The white male suspect is described as 6’2”, weighing approximately 200 lbs. and wore blue jeans with a camo jacket. The suspect had dark sunglasses and wore an orange and white ball cap with an unknown logo.

According to Fort Myers Police, at 2:34 p.m. officers responded to the Fifth Third Bank on State Road 82 near Lee Boulevard in reference to a just occurred robbery. Upon arrival police discovered the suspect entered the bank, implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the teller. The suspect then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries during the incident.
