FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol says an SUV hit a pedestrian crossing I-75, hitting and killing them.
An FHP report states this happened at 8:02 p.m. Thursday night near where the interstate crosses over Daniels Parkway.
They say the man was walking on the shoulder, then tried to cross the highway when the SUV hit him.
Troopers say they don't expect to file any charges.
They did not say why the man was trying to cross the interstate.
