UPDATE: Investigators have identified the woman killed in a fatal crash Saturday evening.
According to Florida Highway Patrol Angela Vetter, 44, was driving south on Gateway Boulevard towards Commerce Lakes Drive when she drove over a median and onto the northbound lanes of Gateway Boulevard and collided with a tree.
Vetter was transported to Gulf Coast Hospital where she later died.

FORT MYERS, Fla. --- Florida Highway Patrol and Lee County Sheriff's are on the scene of a fatal crash.
According to investigators, the accident happened on Gateway Boulevard and Commerce Lakes Drive in Fort Myers on Saturday evening.
One person has been confirmed dead.
