UPDATE (2:30 PM) -- Florida Highway Patrol reports that Kaeli McCormick was pronounced dead Monday.
The investigation is ongoing.

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A 12-year-old girl is in critical condition following an ATV accident in Collier County.
Florida Highway Patrol says it happened on Platt Road near Corkscrew Lane on Sunday afternoon.
They say that 12-year-old Kaeli McCormick was riding the ATV when it suddenly flipped and landed on top of her.
She's in Lee Memorial Hospital with critical injuries.
