North Port Police say the 16-year-old has been located and is safe.

A 16-year-old girl from North Port is missing.
Police say Makayla Fredenburg was last seen in the area of the 2000 block of Van Raub Street in North Port.
She was seen wearing a green shirt and black leggings and has a nose piercing.
Police believe she might be with 37-year-old Michael Read traveling in a 1997 maroon Ford F250. Police say the license plate number of the vehicle is 7426JP.
