DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. — Two semi trucks are involved in a crash that's closed down SE Highway 70, according to Florida Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Lieutenant Gregory Bueno.
Lt. Bueno said the driver of vehicle two, a 73-year-old male, was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of vehicle one, a 52-year-old male, faces minor injuries.
The DeSoto County Sheriff's Office is asked drivers to avoid the area of SE Highway 70 just west of the SE Highlands County line.
