COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal accident involving a 25-year-old motorcyclist on Golden Gate Blvd. East and Everglades Blvd. North Friday night.
Troopers say the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Golden Gate Blvd. East, west of Everglades Blvd. North.
The other vehicle, a roadway maintenance vehicle, was stationary in the eastbound inside lane of Golden Gate Blvd East performing roadway measurements.
Authorities say the motorcyclist crashed into the vehicle. Troopers say the motorcyclist died on the scene.
