FORT MYERS, Fla. — There's a new face joining the race to become the next mayor of Fort Myers.

Jacquelyn McMiller is the 2nd woman throwing her hat into the ring.

McMiller is the aunt of Fort Myers native and NFL star Sammy Watkins.

She holds various positions within the community, including work with Sammy's charitable foundation and the Lee County NAACP.

Fort Myers City Councilman Kevin Anderson (Ward 4) and Councilwoman Gaile Anthony (Ward 6) are also in the running for the position.

Current Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson is leaving the position in November to run for Congress.
