Adult kickball league comes to Southwest Florida

A new adult kickball league has made its way to Cape Coral and Fort Myers. The idea came from Cape Coral native Ryan Caviness and his partner Thomas Baltazar.

The league plays Tuesday nights in Cape Coral and has a sister league in Fort Myers with games on Wednesday nights.

“I wanted to create something here in Southwest Florida,” Caviness told Four in Your Corner.

The adult kickball league has players starting at age 18 and going all the way up to 70. The games give people the opportunity to exercise and form new friendships.

“We get a little exercise, we have a lot of fun. We tease each other. It's a great sport”, said Skip Kitchen.

Kitchen is admittedly one of the older players in the Cape Coral League, but he has a spirited approach that's been helping his team have a number of victories during the season.

“Kick the ball, catch the ball, don't let them.”

iKickballz is still registering players until June 25th for the season. You can find more information about the league and register HERE
