NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. --- Investigators are looking for two men who robbed a storage facility Monday morning.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office the armed duo walked into the Extra Space Storage at the 4100 block of Hancock Bridge Parkway, wearing ski masks and carrying guns.

One suspect reportedly locked the front door while the other man ran around the counter and demanded to know where the safe was located.

The victim inside the store told the suspects that there no safe, which led to the suspects asking where the money was.

The suspects raided the cash register and removed an undisclosed amount of money, while ordering the employee to a back room in the store.

LCSO says one of the suspects grabbed a digital video recorder located in the store and placed it in his backpack.

Both suspects left the store with cash, DVR system and several checks made out to Extra Space Storage.

Anyone with information on the identities of these suspects are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
