UPDATE (2PM) -- Detectives have quickly located and arrested the Cape Coral man they say conducted an armed robbery in North Fort Myers Sunday night.
23-year-old Christopher Davies has been booked into the Lee County Jail, charged with armed robbery, as well as the possession of cocaine and drug equipment.
Davies was located at a residence on Happy Road in North Fort Myers, where he was taken into custody.
Davies is a criminal registrant with numerous prior arrests, dating back to 2008 when he was jailed for felony theft and burglary charges at age 14. As an adult, he’s been incarcerated for assault, disorderly intoxication and loitering and prowling. Additionally, he’s spent roughly a year and a half in state prison for criminal mischief.

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Scary images have been released of an armed robbery in North Fort Myers in which the suspect aimed a rifle at a store employee.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, it happened just before midnight on Sunday.
Investigators say a white male walked into the Circle K on Pondella Road at Barrett Road armed with an "AR style rifle". The suspect demanded money from the register, and the cashier complied.
After getting a bag full of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot onto Pondella Road.
The suspect is described as approximately 5’9”, medium build, with blue or light colored eyes, wearing a black long sleeved shirt, brown boots and a black bandana covering his mouth and eyes.
Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
