CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Cape Coral Police have made an arrest in connection to online threats made against Oasis Elementary School.
According to investigators, they received out-of-state information, Monday, regarding a threat made against the school in a video game chat session. Extra School Resource Officers were dispatched to the school as precaution.
After further investigation, Cape Coral Police were able to identify an Oasis High School freshman student as the one who made the threat.
The student has been arrested and Cape Coral Police have confirmed that there is no known, credible danger to the school at this time.
