A Cape Coral man was caught red handed breaking into a home and attempting to leave with stolen items, the Cape Coral Police Department said.
Officers say a nearby resident heard the sound of glass breaking and immediately called law enforcement.
When Officers arrived to the scene located in the 400 block of NE 23 Terrace, they found Nickolas Williams, 26, of Cape Coral inside of a home carrying a watch and a Minecraft video game.
It was later determined that Williams had entered the unoccupied home by using a brick to break through the slider.
He was transported to the Lee County Jail and arrested for Burglary, Larceny and Criminal Mischief.
