CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – ‘Tis the season for giving! Fox 4 and the Scripps Howard Foundation donated $1,000 to the non-profit group Back Pack Kidz Wednesday morning.
They fill back packs with food and send them home with kids in Charlotte County who may not have anything to eat over the weekend.
All of the money donated to the group goes toward the purchase of food and backpacks.
