NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Troopers say a North Fort Myers woman has passed away after being hit by a truck while riding a bicycle earlier this month.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, on October 1st, 53-year-old Linda Weherley was riding a bicycle north on Many Road when she crossed onto Pine Island Road as a semi truck was approaching.
The truck hit her, and Weherley was taken to Lee Memorial in critical condition.

Weherley was pronounced dead on October 19 from her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
