NAPLES, Fla. — A 62-year-old female bicyclist was hit and killed by a car at the intersection of Livingston Road and Marbella Lakes Drive in Naples Sunday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol says that at 11:09 a.m., the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling west on Marbella Lakes Drive approaching the intersection of Livingston Road.

The bicyclist, 62-year-old Cathleen Ragone, was traveling north on Livingston Road to cross the intersection of Marbella Lakes Drive.

Troopers say the driver didn't stop at a stop sign on Marbella and hit Ragone. Troopers say the bicyclist was taken to Physician's Regional Hospital, but died from her injuries.
