Bike night in Cape Coral will take place Saturday, but with lots of changes to avoid spreading COVID-19.
The city tells Fox 4 it will not host the event or any large public events on city property for the rest of the year, but the bikers will be able to find a way around this restriction.
They are holding it on private property at Duval Street restaurant.
Police say even though it's not an official city event anymore, the rules still apply.
The restaurant obtained a permit from the city to host the event.
They tell Fox 4 they understand safety concerns, and they have measures in place to protect staff and attendees.
Bike night kicks off at 6 pm and will last until 10 pm at Duval Street on Southeast 47th Terrace in Cape Coral.
