LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a boat captain who was experiencing medical issues dozens of miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico recently.
According to the Coast Guard, a call came in from a 30-foot vessel that was 48 miles off Sanibel, requesting medical assistance.
