ALVA, Fla. — The Alva Boat Ramp will be closed for a renovation project.
The ramp is expected to reopen in late August.
The Lee Board of County Commissioners in November voted to award the contract to Kelly Brothers for $495,371.95 to renovate the Alva Boat Ramp.
Boater registration fees funded the project.
Some of the renovations include widening the ramp and making parking lot improvements.
