UPDATE 3/16, 2:15 P.M.:

The body found on Logan Blvd. N, in Collier County, has been identified as 67-yer-old Neil Clark, of Ohio. He had been living near where the body was found.

Clark was a longtime Ohio lobbyist who pleaded not guilty in a sweeping federal bribery investigation.

According to reports, Clark's wife said they had been having financial issues.

Clark made the not-guilty plea in August over an alleged role in a $60 million scheme federal prosecutors say funneled money from FirstEnergy companies to then-Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder to secure a $1 billion nuclear bailout.

There Collier County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation.

CCSO says a body was found in a field off Logan Boulevard North in Collier County.

The call came in at 11:29 a.m.

CCSO says a bicyclist found the body.

At this time the Sheriff's Office is not calling it suspicious.
