LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Human remains located in Charleston Park have been identified as a Fort Myers woman.
Thirty-eight-year-old Courtney Thomas was last seen Dec. 8, 2017. On Jan. 27, Lee County deputies were called to the 23000 block of Avenue D. Alva where they found human remains.
Those remains were identified today as Courtney Thomas. Her next of kin have been notified, and the investigation into her death is ongoing.
