NAPLES, Fla. -- A boil water order is in effect for thousands of people in Collier County, and their water won't be back to normal anytime soon.
The affected area extends from Collier Boulevard West to Everglades Boulevard North, and then from just south of Calusa Pines Golf Club up to Immokalee Road.
Officials say it's in effect until at least the end of the month, because of a water main break near Collier Boulevard and Immokalee Road.
Crews are still working to fix that break and get things back to normal.
