BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. -- There is now a vacant seat on the Bonita Springs city council.
Councilman Peter O'Flinn submitted his letter of resignation Thursday, writing simply he is 'resigning at the close of business today.'
A city spokesperson tells Fox 4 they will discuss their next steps at an upcoming city council meeting.
According to their calendar, their next meeting is November 6th.
