Bonita Springs man arrested in Mercato parking garage gun threat

NAPLES, Fla. — A Bonita Springs man is behind bars, accused of threatening another man and his son.

Collier county deputies say 26-year-old Christopher King, pointed a gun at a man and his son on August, 18, 2017. Law enforcement says it was done in a fit of rage.

Deputies say during their investigation they learned the man and his son were working on a broken car inside the Mercato parking garage. That’s when Kind allegedly swerved around them.

The 911 call from the incident reveals, King reportedly pulled up next to the father and son, grabbed a gun from his car and threatened them.

King is facing several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
