CAPE CORAL, Fla—Businesses in downtown Cape Coral are booming, but the added economy is putting parking at a premium.
Cape Coral leaders are discussing a plan to add more than 40 new parking spots to the downtown entertainment district.
The 14-million-dollar project would add extra spots to existing parking lots, however, the added parking would mean fewer on-street parking spaces.
The city says the goal is to make it easier for you to walk around from business to business.
