Today's Cape Coral City Council meeting approved alcohol for the family water park.
Many meetings were held regarding the decision however nothing ever was approved.
Sunsplash says they are wanting to sell beer and wine slushies and only allow a two-drink maximum.
There will be a one-year trial period until February 2020
At that time they can decide to either end or extend sales.
