CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- The city of Cape Coral wants to get the ball rolling on filling the upcoming city manager position.
Leaders will be discussing available recruitment firms at Monday's council meeting.
The current city manager, John Szerlag, is set to retire in November. He's come under fire recently, connected to four investigations by the FDLE, Cape Fire, Cape Police, and the auditor's office.
Last week, the city council voted to allow Szerlag to keep his job as they investigate him.
Monday's meeting is at 4:30.
