Cape Coral Police announce arrest of drive by shooting suspect

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral Police have announced they have arrested a man in connection to a shooting in Cape Coral on December 20th.

The United States Marshals Service and the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 19-year-old Benjamin Nathan LaFosse.

LaFosse had charges stemming from a shooting incident that involved a 17-year-old male in a Cape Coral driveway. LaFosse was charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, Discharging a Firearm From a Vehicle within 1,000 feet of a Person and Shooting into a Dwelling.

The United States Marshals Service and Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force located LaFosse.

His trial date is set for March 23rd.
