CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral police arrested a woman for driving under the influence with a 9-year-old in the front passenger seat.
Police say Amie Hancock, 36, of Cape Coral was stopped for speeding and failing to maintain a single lane at the 700 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway West. Upon contact Hancock showed signs of impairment, and a DUI investigation ensued. She performed poorly on the field sobriety exercises and was arrested.
Hancock is facing charges for driving under the influence and driving under the influence with passenger under 18 years of age.
