CAPE CORAL, Fla. ---- The Cape Coral Police Department announcing its plans to join the Neighbors app to help provide local residents with local crime and safety information.
"Neighbors is the newest tool that we want to provide citizens to connect with the Cape Coral Police Department and each other," said Lieutenant Dana Coston, Cape Coral Police Department Public Affairs Officer.
The Neighbors app is free to residents and help monitor neighborhood activity; share crime and safety-related videos, photos and text-based posts; and receive real-time safety alerts from your neighbors, local law enforcement, and the Ring team.
The Neighbors network already has millions of users and has been instrumental in catching package thieves, stopping burglaries and keeping neighborhoods safe.
