CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Cape Coral Police Department has released the results of their DUI Detail this weekend.
Police say they made 23 traffic stops Saturday night as part of the detail which aims to increase safety on roadways.
Twenty-Two warnings were given to drivers and one DUI arrest was made, the department says.
Derek Contestato, 41, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Police weren't able to get a Blood Alcohol Content level because he refused to be tested.
The department said it also gave out four citations, two of which were criminal citations.
